This cranefly was framed on all sides by grass and it was quite deep in the vegetation. There was no way I could get the tips of the legs in the frame but it looked like, and turned out to be, a new species for my image files.
The stereo is crosseye.
Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/80 at f11, hand-held.
