I shot these on my first visit to Decoy Heath Reserve on 28 May. They chose this cluttered, stoney beach to land on. The males, in articular ware very difficult to see on the ground, even when you have just seen them alight.

The images has been cropped by about 20%. I have removed much of the OOF stem which was in exactly the wrong place.

Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Panasonic 100 - 400mm Leica DG Vario-Elmar at 400mm 1/500 at f9, ISO 250, hand held.
