    Good stuff
    The top one looks like the bird is perched on an old, LARGE carcass of some kind. Strange formation of the tree I assume. The second is very sharp for a crop - looks great. Wish we had some of those critters around here (NM). Not likely since bodies of water are rare. I did get to watch some Osprey when I worked in Oregon in my youth. Magnificent birds.

    Nice captures, Mike.....and wooootttttt on the new place to shoot. thumb.gifthumb.gif I ran across 7....YES, SEVEN ospreys the other day out in the boat. 3 pairs and a single one eating a huge fish. I'm hoping I got some good shots. I'll have to wait until I get the FILM DEVELOPED. eek7.gif :uhoh rolleyes1.gif Yeah...Had the 35mm with me. It was suppose to be a fishing adventure with my sister and nephews. I'm not sure how the camera got on board. :uhoh :D

    Were those with the 400mm?

    Thanks guys. The tree was pretty cool, I hopped out snapped the 1st photo just to get him and went to recompose to get the tree better, and well that's when I got the 2nd.

    Yes Mike, those are with the much liked 400. Guess the avatar needs updating again.
