I've been doing photography as a hobby for several years and sold a few things here and there to people I know, but I really want to start making money with my work. What is the best way to go about selling fine art work? A website is the obvious first choice, but what other options are out there?

It's all about the marketing -- driving folks to your website. Only a small percentage will buy even if you are a rock star. So you need lots of visitors to increase your chances of sales. Facebook and Instagram are a good tools for this. Find appropriate groups to show your work and sign up thousands of followers. Getting published in media and winning photo contests doesn't hurt either. Maybe you can donate pictures to local businesses to hang your pictures in trade for exposure.

Keep in mind you'll be competing with hundreds of other photographers out there, many of which have been at this for a lifetime.
