Roku app

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it odd that there is no working Roku app? Roku is far and away the most popular streaming device. There is an Apple TV app - although I'm not sure if this is developed and maintained by a third party or by SmugMug. Apple TV is a great device, but has a fraction of the users of Roku. What am I missing here? Is it that most SmugMug users are Apple TV users? Not sure I believe that. Seems like it would be advantageous for SmugMug to support and maintain such an app itself.

No disagreement here. Roku is by far becoming THE streaming platform since it can incorporate all other platforms. And the Roku TVs are just making that even more clear.

There used to be an app apparently, but something happened:

I second the vote for a Smugmug app on Roku given the sluggishness of the Apple TV app

There really should be a Smugmug app on Roku. You have a big screen always connected to the Internet. You show people SmugMug. Happier customers and good promotion to new customers result.

I'm seriously considering creating a Roku/SmugMug app myself. Would you guys be willing to fill out a brief, 5 minute survey so I can better assess demand for an app like this? I'm not sure if it's just me and a couple dozen other SmugMugers, or if there is widespread desire. Thanks in advance! Survey is here: http://survey.smugmug-roku.com
