When I read what experts in this excellent forum, write and demonstrate to know, like the LAB discution, (rutt on the Margulis LAB color book) which has been so useful to me, I am almost "ashamed" :scratch to ask if anyone can teach me how to select the magenta from this girl's blouse to turn it into another color.

I would do the mask in the A channel, and use curves to get the mask as I want. And then change the HUE. I would use curves even this time.

Not having time to read the book is one thing; we can all understand that. Not having for a reference is another thing. Buy the book, it will make it easier to answer your questions in the future.
