Mucor: A White Jewel

I took these shots many months ago but I seem to have always had more exciting subjects.

The white blobs are spore capsules forming. In a few days they would probably have been black.

This was in my compost bin. The problems were mainly of access, getting the camera in the correct plane and being able to focus and then getting light on the subject.

The stereo is crosseye.

Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f11, (twin?) flash, hand-held.
