Canon EOS 90D

I started another discussion of the 90D and M6 Mark II, and I intend for that to be a "comparative" discussion of those two cameras.

This will be a more directed/focused discussion of the 90D alone, and the model I find more interesting, although I am still pleased with the 80D predecessor and don't plan to upgrade. In fact, now is a pretty good time to purchase an 80D.

In addition to the primary features of the 90D:

..., the 90D boasts 10 fps, up from 7 fps of the 80D, and the AF is still 45-pt (all cross-type) but now includes 27 points capable of f8 AF.

It has a new 220,000 Pixel AE Sensor with EOS iTR AF (Face Detection), first introduced on the professional-level Canon EOS 1D X, and previously only available on much more expensive Canon bodies.

A new shutter capability with an electronic shutter system with speeds from 1/16000 second during live view shooting and a mechanical/electronic 1st-curtain shutter with a maximum of 1/8000 second.
