Thanks Ben, I'll lend you one of these. I too have wanted a goose for some time. I met up with a new Dgrin member, Russ, and yesterday was perfect. On the other side of the lake a large flock was having lunch, and we circled around so the sun was at our back for good lighting, and the wind in our face for good stalking. Just as I thought, they flew right towards us at the last minute giving my tiny 80-200 mm a fighting chance for once. I just kept thinking, all I need is one. I've missed seeing you out there; I'll hope to see you some week-end soon.

Thanks Thusie, he was my favorite also. In fact I almost cut the third goose out, to make a picture of only two, but thought maybe thirds would be a better composition.

Thanks Froggy. I was talking with school teacher at the park one day, and we saw a beautiful bird, which she said was a bluebird. She told me they were there all the time, in the large tree behind the restrooms. I've seen them a couple of time, but little birds are hard to capture for me. Guess I need to practice. I usually avoid week-ends because of the people, but I'll try this Sat. If I go, I'll look for you.
