A rare visitor to the garden

A brown hairstreak butterfly. Only seen this once before in the garden.

sony a6000 Sigma 105 OS. Some of the shots have been focus stacked by hand in PS.

A very nice find and lovely images. It's a female.

They are supposed to stay at the tops of trees.

West Sussex is a "stronghold" for them.
