Just this Folder/All Folders

Hi,
I think that this can be done, but, I'm just not sure of the rules. It seems simple and logical, but, I can't quite figure it out.
Can I do the following:
In Content and Design, I'd like to have every folder have the same Layout parameters (such that changing the Layout in one folder results in every folder acquiring that change).
And, at the same time each folder to have a unique Text Block.
Thanks for the help,
Sonny

"All Folders" shows every widget/box common on every folder. What you put in a folder like a text widget can be different on every folder page.
"Just this folder" allows you to add/remove widgets/boxes from the "All Folders" configuration.

I think that I'm getting it.
Can I assume that a "widget" is a Content Block that gets dragged over?
And I'm not sure about "boxes". Could that be Layout/Theme/etc?
Widgets and boxes are the same thing. Some call them widgets others call them boxes. They are content blocks.

Ok, re content blocks.
Where does Layout (stretchy/fixed) fit into this scheme?
For example, how would l change all folders from fixed to stretchy?
And not mess up content blocks?
Thanks
Changing the Layout of the site is done within the Customizer under the Layout tab. This can be done for a single Gallery or Folder by making the Folder or Gallery custom first then changing the layout option or it can be done sitewide by using the Entire site > Layout > stretchy.
