Hot One: Alpha

The first image reminds me of a gas torch flame. This is Hildewintera hybrid "Alpha".

The images were shot on two consecutive days.

The stereos are crosseye.

Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, (first only) f5.3, f8, hand-held.

    Thanks. I claim no credit for the colours, which were produced by the vision of the hybridiser. However, I moderated shadows and highlights to keep them well-saturated.

    Another such hybrid has its first flower for me opening as I type this.
