    Nice shots.....but I don't think this is a 1955 Jaguar XK 140.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I agree... not a production model - It might be a limited edition racer of a 1940's vintage

Reminds me of the self assembled Morgans that didn't conform to US standards

    Shot is great...

Read this and weep. It is on the back of the car

I'll guess this is a works racer based on the XK 140

I've looked through my books but I can't find any references to a car like this. Some outfit....I doubt it was Jaguar....may have used the underpinnings of an XK 140 and used the body seen here to create this car. If I knew what year this car was made, I might could make an educated guess....and I emphasize GUESS....as to the whole story.

Whatever the car/year the work done is excellent

This is what an 1960 XK 140 looks like.

I redid this for my bride (it was a rare automatic)

Then she couldn't parallel park it so we sold it, lost my ass...

    This is my 1952 XK120 in 1958... (I was about 19 with hair :D )
