can not protect my photos

I'm quite new to smugmug and did a first sketch for my page. Now I have 10+ galleries and tried to protect the photos from downloading and right-clicking - but this did not work. What I did:

In "Organizer" I have chosen my galleries
turned right click off shopping off, watermark on, etc.
saved the settings

... but everything is as it was before. Images can be downloaded and put into the shopping cart

Can anyone give me a hint what is going wring: I'm working with Safari browser in an actual version on a MacMini, latest MacOS.

Did you try it logged off? Logged on as owner you can do all that.

As Allen mentioned, as the owner, you can always download and buy your photos. When downloading and the visitor shopping cart is turned off your visitors won't be allowed to do those tasks unless they're logged in as you (which won't be possible). You can try opening a "Private" tab in Safari, which can simulate what it will look like for your visitors. You should see downloading and buying is disabled.
