It's that time of year again, when the majestic humpback whales return to Hawai'i for a little mating / birthing party for the winter. This year, we bought season passes aboard the Kai Kanani sailboat, giving unlimited access to trips all winter long. Took the new 100-400 out for a spin on Christmas Eve, and while it's still very early in the season, I came away with a few keepers.
