My Google Analytics has stopped working.

My Smugmug site has been idle for a while, used only for family and friends. Finally posted a Xmas event, Statcounter shows over 700 hits but Google Analytics has stopped working.

For the past 3 days, launching Google Analytics gives this:

Internal error. Please try again later. Analytics has encountered an unexpected condition and cannot fulfill your request.

Under Google Analytics Notifications I see this:

No Hits error - Property http://www.kellyphoto.smugmug.com is not receiving hits.

I checked the Google Web Property ID inside Smugmug and it matches Google Analytics.

Any hints why Google Analytics is not working and how to fix?

Nevermind. More poking around in Google I found they had a Chrome extension to check Analytics tags on any site. Installed and ran that and saw a small footnote that said AdBlock Plus might prevent Google Analytics from working properly. Sure enough, when I whitelisted Google Analytics in AdBlock Plus everything was OK again.

Strange in that I've run AdBlock Plus for years without a Google whitelist and had no problem. Also strange that AdBlock Plus now reports 14 "ads" on the Google Analytics page, yet there are no true ads. Obviously something has changed recently in Google Analytics code.
