I shot this back in 2016... there are image quality issues, but it is a pic I keep coming back to. I finally decided to post it.

I like it, very moody.
I'd like to be there!

Looks good to me, too.
That area is foggy and misty, if that's the quality issues you are referring to. Except for some extra blue in there (which is easily tamed), it looks fine to me.
Mine was a little less foggy and misty, but that's what it is.

Thanks David, thanks for sharing your image too. Cannon Beach has very interesting features.

I was trying to remember the name for the foggy weather on a coast that is often different than it is just inland. It is "Marine Layer." Your photo aptly demonstrates this.

I hadn't heard the term, thanks.

Forget the technicales the shot is a great image...
The contrasts & subtle colors really work for me...
In San Francisco we get that weather condition all the time...
Thanks Rags!

Its great Cristobal! I want tad more bottom though.....more water.....cheers!
I also like it, it has a sense of mistery to it and enough drama to make it interesting.

Thanks Taz, you might be right. I will work on a new version and see how it feels.
Thanks!

Hey Taz, what do you think?

The adjusted version is spot on. Taz was right..The extra detail at the bottm really helps. It was, though, a nice shot as it was.
Thanks Tom, Taz is often right...

A different view....
The bottom reduces some of the high key contrast the original had...
I liked the high key treatment because real fog is usually darker grey and less dynamic
Good point too. I can go either way.

Details in bottom are wonderful.....I was thinking bit more area in bottom....if available....the horizontal line of earth is too close to bottom edge.....the moodiness and simplicity makes it a wall hanger overalll..Cheers Cristobal!
Thanks for the comment Taz. I’m still undecided, in the mean time I printed three Oregon themed pics and I like the results!

Sweet! Is that Mt. Hood? I have been on it!!
I like both versions, probably prefer the second one but not by much. I am drawn to the moodiness. I also am jealous--have never been to Oregon!
Great work, as always!

Many thanks! I think Rags has a point saying that more than how much water there is, the high key treatment is more important. I have to go back and try different things.
