Batch HTML tag generation

Does anyone know of a tool, plugin, or technique for rapidly generating the <a><img> tags for an entire gallery?
Daily, I use the share window (generally on HTML/MEDIUM) to cut and paste the tags for every photo in several 50-100 photo albums. This is quite tedious. I used to have a wordpress plugin where you could select an album and it would loop over the photos and generate the tags all at once, but changes to the Smugmug API summer 2018 made this old plugin stop working. Obviously, it's a very easy thing to write if one has all the annoying authorization code sorted (as it's just a loop and some string manipulation). But does anyone know of one?
