Hello All,

I already have a "Contact Me" link at the bottom of my web page. The only problem is that it is directly linked with MicroSoft Outlook which I want to change. I want a link without Outlook. Can someone help?

Hi David,

It's not actually associated with Outlook. It is actually that on your computer the default mail application is Outlook. If you go to Control Panel->Internet Options->Applications and set a differernt default email client, that application will open when u click the link.

It's linked with Outlook on YOUR computer because that's the default mail handler on your PC. On my computer, clicking your link launchs Apple Mail. Do you want a real form, or an email link?

Do you want a webform that someone fills out and then the contents are emailed to you ?

will someone post the textbox codes here? alot of them i found on google dont work. Im using a private gallery to make my emailform. thanks

Email Form
Yes, David... That is exactly what I want. I also tried a few from Google and Yahoo and found that they did not work well. Some forms did work, but the entire form would have been visible on the bottom of the site. I am just looking for a simple form that someone fills out and than the contents are emailed to me. I don't want the entire form to be visible on the page - maybe a button labled "Contact Me".

Hopefully someone can help me with this request.

you could do what azazel is doing and make your form in a private gallery, then just have your "Contact Me" button link to that gallery.

Did you read the content of his site? I firmly beleive in freedom of the press but his site is way over the top for me. I am probably on a government watch listed just for logging on to the site.

i didnt look at his site before, i just read his post where he was putting his email form in a private gallery.
