Hiding alternate menu

I am trying to hide a left side vertical menu on the homepage as I only want the horizontal to show on home page and the vertical everywhere else. I did it once upon a time on my site, brandolinoimaging.com, but cannot seem to find the code that did it and I am trying to do it for my daughter on her site.
Actually mine is the opposite, vertical homepage and horizontal inside... but same idea.
I'd try the CSS editor in web dev tools but it's been so long and the web dev tools have changed to the extend I cannot figure it out.

    I figure it out... I had used an independent homepage on my site to make it work. No code.
