Can you make watermarks disappear when a photo is on a carousel or cover photo?

I would like to use photos from all my galleries in my carousel, but some of these galleries are watermarked. The photos are in my carousel now with watermarks on them. Is there a way to make watermarks go away when they are featured in a carousel?

There is no CSS as the watermark is "printed" on the photo. Only way to do that is to create a gallery without the watermark.
