    My Dad had a '46 Mercury (if memory serves) with the Flathead V8. Similar shape to this Chevy, so this image brings back fond memories.

    I was a little surprised to see this in the Bajío as there tend to be more modern cars there.

    What a lovely motor! In the 50's we were much bolder with our auto colors. I can remember that one of our family cars in the 50s was a big DeSoto in almost the same color.
