Site Freezes Up When Creating Post

On several occasions I've experienced some kind of system hang as I create or edited a post. When that happens, the "Post Discussion" button turns from green to blue (just like it does when I hover over it prior to clicking). After a few minutes, the button changes back to green and things free up. Is it possible that this has something to do with the site temporarily saving my post prior to me submitting it? Needless to say, it did not happen at all while I created this particular post. :-)

Yes, I'm pretty sure that it is saving your post. It's annoying, but you just have to give it a few seconds.
