It was the fourth sunny afternoon of the month and the warmest. For the first time this year, there were a few bees of several species feeding (or resting) on a decorative currant bush.
This one was still for a few seconds.
Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f11, hand-held.
The stereo is crosseye.

Thanks, Brian.
Yesterday was the first day I saw solitary bees, including one of the tiniest (not photographed).
I saw the Holy Blue and Orange Tip added to Comma, Peacock (mating) and Brimstone of recent days.
I saw the first cloud of fungus gnats yesterday.
