Hennepin County Government Center - Minneapolis, Minnesota

During Minnesota's streak of 23 days without any significant sun I, and fellow smugmuger, Davev decided to go downtown Minneapolis looking for shots.

One of the places we decided to hit was the Hennepin County Government Center. They have a very unusual fountain (cannons shooting water) but when we arrived we found out it doesn't run on the weekend. Instead, I came away with a nice reflection shot of Old Glory.

    cool shot... i'd like it a bit more with the symmetry of the entire flag being reflected

    I know what you mean. For some reason they decided to put the information booth right at the base of the pool. I actually took the shot with 1/2 my body laying on the back portion of the information booth so my camera and tripod could be as far back as possible.
