This is on a rotting trunk of a Pussy Willow. It is of an unusual, drooping shape. It is about 1" or 25mm across.

For an earlier stage, and a more typical profile, see my previous account:

Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/120 or 1/60 sec at f11, hand-held.

The stereos are crosseye.

This is the same structure 3 days later.

This is the normal process of the outer skin breaking open to allow spores the be released.

    The stereo is crosseye.

I know that one of the images in the stereo pair is not sharp and has a different colour balance but this is fine for the 3D virtual image.
