Woooow. Both are fabulous in their own way.
I like there. The darkness of the 1st photo with the light shining through the spines of the cactus makes it special.
Cristobal, Denise, thanks.
Love the second one.
Thanks, Richard. I sat on the second one for a while because I wasn't sure what I thought of it.
Second shot is wonderful and mysterious! I do wish the light on the tall one on the left did not get cut off. I would try to brighten it or extract light to take it all the way to the top. Cheers.
That makes sense, Taz. I'll try it. Thanks.
Nice, Don. The back lighting in that first one is quite dramatic.
Thanks, Tom. I've taken many photos of backlighted cholla but this probably comes closer to what I've been after than any of the others.
Both are very well done. #2 is my favorite. What do you think of trying this one in BW? Just a thought from a diehard BW fan.
El Gato, I had the same thought and tried it. It didn't work as well for me. Thanks.
