I know, I know, it's confusing - lots of threads. Fortunately, I've linked all them in one sticky.
I wanted to give some new details here to avoid confusion.
Transportation: Plan on contributing towards the cost of car transportation during the trip. And to/from Las Vegas or however you are getting there. I'll be coordinating enough rental cars that I'll be asking some of you to rent and then you'll be reimbursed from the riders. Best guess: figure $25 per day per person for transportation. That's about $100 for the four days. It could be less, it's not likely to be more. But everyone will contribute. Some folks will rent cars, some will have their own cars, and the rest will be passengers and contribute. If you have an issue or problem with this, you can email me and we'll discuss!
Lodging:
May 17th and 18th
We're staying at Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon.
May 19th and 20th
We're staying at Zion Lodge at Zion.
Rooms have been reserved and your deposits are safe - I will provide estimates of any additional room charges you'll owe upon checkout.
Food:
Meals are on your own *except for* Friday afternoon, SmugMug is sponsoring a banquet for all of us, at The Switchback Grille, in Springdale. After consulting with Marc Muench, we decided to make this an afternoon session, from 1pm to 4pm. Reason? So that we can go back out and get the sweet light at Zion Friday afternoon late and early evening.

Hi Everyone,
The main point of this message: Please meet at 1 p.m. at Ruby's on Wednesday, May 17th. Look for red SmugMug hats. It will be meet, greet, and make a plan.
Prior to that meeting, Andy and whoever goes to Vegas will be leaving Las Vegas around 7 a.m. Wednesday to drive to Bryce and Ruby's.
If you have question about details, please ask them here.
I'm helping out here with some of the details. I really wish I could meet you all. However, the truth is that I'm more of a knitter than a photographer. Missing the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival that weekend is nearly unthinkable. You may never have heard of this marvelous event, but it's big in the fiber world. Waaay big. Fun, too.
