I am trying to create a blog for my website. I wanted a few flexibility while writing my blogpost but unfortunately, I couldn't do it without HTML/CSS.
I have created a dummy blog post here - https://www.dipanjanpal.com/Blog/This-is-a-test-title-to-check-the-blog-pages
Can anyone help me create a HTML/CSS for this one? I want the following things -
- Fonts and font sizes like this page - https://zizka.ca/2019/10/23/the-frozen-bubbles/
- Being able to write captions below the image. (I have added one image titled "Coexistence", its caption is above the image currently!)
Also, I'm curious - is there a way to add tags to my blog post like in Paul Zizka's website I linked above?

I looked at the source for Paul Zizka's site that you linked above and it appears to be a Wordpress site. That's a site that was designed for blogs.
There is a tutorial on buiding a photo blog on SmugMug. In case it's useful, https://school.smugmug.com/SmugMug-Tips/How-to-Make-a-Photo-Blog.
Are you planning on writing blog posts often? If you are it may make sense to publish your blog on a blogging site.
My blog is hosted on Blogger but I have matched the look to my SmugMug site. You can take a look by following the link in my signature (below).
For a Wordpress example take a look at @Hikin' Mike site, https://www.imagesinthebackcountry.com/

Like @denisegoldberg mentioned, Paul uses the free version of WordPress.
I'm using the self-hosted (still free) version of WordPress. Both my SmugMug site (galleries only) and my Website/Blog use WordPress and both are customized to look identical.
Not using SmugMug.

Thanks, I will check it out.
Actually, yes. I have a lot of free time now and I plan on writing regularly in the upcoming months.
I have this domain dipanjanpal.com registered in my name. In case I open a blog in wordpress, if someone clicks on "blog" menu in my website, they will be redirected to my wordpress site. In that case, what will the url be? Would it still be dipanjanpal.com/blog or would it be dipanjanpal.wordpress.com/blog ?
Sorry, I'm a little confused about using Smugmug and Wordpress together for my website.
So if I want to have a similar look (just the font, and the caption below an image) without going to wordpress, I guess it could be done in Smugmug right?
Could you help me with the HTML/CSS code for that?
It depends. You can't use dipanjanpal.com/blog if your site is on SmugMug and your blog is on Wordpress. You may be able to use a subdomain for your wordpress blog.
If you look at my site for an example:
But the viewer doesn't need to know the different URLs - they just need one to get to either site and then they can use the site navigation.
If you look at @Hikin' Mike site you will see that he is using a subdomain for his smugmug site and the main domain for his wordpress site.
