I like them both, but would suggest a square crop for #1 and somehow a bit more drama in #2...

Nice, especially first.
I like them, Don. The first one is really appealing. I'm on the fence about Cristóbal's suggestion of the crop on #1.

OK..maybe it is the times but, I like #2. Seeing it just conveys something that I can't quite articulate but, I "feel" it. A quality of a good photo...emotes feelings from the viewer...mission accomplished. Well done!
