Canvas prints deteriorating - Why?

I have a couple canvas prints--one a photo print, one a giclee--that have deteriorated badly over the course of 10 or so years. A couple others haven't done this.

Any thoughts on why this is happening? I'm wondering if its environmental or if it's an issue with the ink or canvas. Or something else. Album is here.
