Back Button in Gallery

Hey Guys. Wanting to find out if there is a way to create a custom "BACK" button that can be displayed in the top right corner when a Gallery is opened. (Would be applied to "ALL GALLERIES" as I only want this option for my Galleries.)
I want my Galleries to behave similar to the Lightbox, not exactly.
But simply just have a "BACK" button at the top right, which will take you back to the previous page.
Also, not wanting the button to look like a button. It would only be the text "BACK"

SHIT!! Alright will work around it. Might need to change quite a bit to my website then. Thanks Mike
I have a "back" button on my browser. Why would there be a need for another one?

Hmm I guess so. Think it's just to have the continuity. Everywhere on my website you're able to click "something" that leads you somewhere, and now once you're on a Gallery, the only "visible" option is the Logo on the top left.
Have a look at my website please and see what I mean. www.shearerviljoen.com
Use breadcrumbs.

Just a few observations. Your home page navigation lists only your logo, About and Contact. Clicking your About page I see "Home, Retouch, Photo, About and Contact". Your "Retouch" is missing your Retouch in your menu. You have 'Photo' and 'Portfolio' going to the same page.
It's confusing to me. Use a site-wide menu and use breadcrumbs for your visitors.

Thanks Mike. I'm looking into it at the moment.
Is there a way to change the link of a certain Breadcrumb, or have a specific crumb hidden though?
My current Breadcrumb from an opened Gallery on the Retouching side shows as follows:
However, the "Retouch" folder doesn't exist to the viewer. That is only for my use in the Organization section.
Would appreciate if you could have a look on my website when you click on the "RETOUCH" in the breadcrumb
This is from a Gallery on my website as an example: https://www.shearerviljoen.com/Retouching/Portfolio/MONICA-JOSEPH-for-cancerday/
Alright thanks. Was trying to go for 2 "Separate Sites" in one website. Light mode for Retouching, and Dark mode for Photography. With Portfolio on both "Websites" being the Home page of the designated site.
A Portfolio homepage for Retouching, and a Portfolio Homepage for Photography.
I have thought this through and the only way going forward (keeping the dark and light mode separation in mind) is to have the Header across the entire website remain with a white background. Would this be possible to do?
That way I can create a dropdown menu for both the Photography and Retouching and have the same menu span across the entire website.
(I hope I am making sense, apologies if not.)
Not that I know of.
It goes to a blank page.

Yes, it's possible to do two different backgrounds and breadcrumbs between the two "sites". You'll need to put all of your retouch stuff into one folder and the photography into another. Using CSS you can hide/show the separate menu/breadcrumbs and backgrounds.

Thanks @Hikin' Mike. That I do have. This is what it looks like in the Organizer
Both "PORTFOLIO" in RETOUCH and PHOTO I am wanting to have as the main page for each section respectively. And the RETOUCH and PHOTO folders, along with Admin are not to be seen on the website. Does this make sense?
Yes.

@Hikin' Mike Alternatively, what I was also thinking of doing is something like this:
Is there a way to achieve this? Basically a white "banner" across the entire site which lies underneath the Logo and the Menu. That way I can then just have a dropdown on both the RETOUCH and the PHOTO
Yes, that's normally how it's done. Put your logo and menu in the site-wide section in the header.

Thanks @Hikin' Mike. I've gone ahead and done that, but now on the Photography side which has the Dark Mode, it displays like this:
How can I make the White span across and also behind the Menu?
Do you have a link to that page?

Yeh sure thing @Hikin' Mike.

I'm confused. I thought it was dark? I'm seeing white.

Sorry @Hikin' Mike . I was trying something. It's back now to dark mode.
Your logo needs to be a PNG if you want your logo to have a black background. If you want your header to be white on all pages add color to your theme's header:

@Hikin' Mike you're a GENIUS!!! Thank you so much. I went with the Header color to white. A simple step which I completely overlooked. No coding was needed for that one. THANK YOU again so much!
