I want to hook up a tv type monitor to my dig. camera so that it shows the same view as my view finder. That way I can look at the screen and adjust my camera from the front. (very nice feature when you need some extra hands). Does anyone know if there's a way to do that with my camera (rebel XT or 20D or 5D).

I don't know about a TV connection but you are otherwise describing common camera control from software. Can you use your laptop or computer instead of the TV?

The only way to do this is to use a video camera mounted to the viewfinder. There is a mirror that blocks the sensor.

Yes, a computer would work just fine too. I just have no idea about any of this... I just know it can be done so any info would be wondeful!
