"Andromeda" may be familiar as a name. Astronomers would think of the galaxy which is the one closest to ours. It is also the most distant object visible to the human eye.
There is no problem seeing this flower which is a hand-span across.
I was surprised to find it in flower, having never, so far as I recall, seen a yellow epicactus hybrid in flower in my collection, in spite of having hybrids which should have yellow flowers. This one has been there for 38 years before forming a bud.
Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f13 ISO 250 or 400, hand-held.
The stereos are crosseye.
