SSL Issues

Registered Users Posts: 3 Big grins
All of the discussions I see regarding SSL are dated 2018! Yet, I don't see a fix. My domain registrar has a free SSL (Let's Encrypt), but they said that it cannot be implemented if the URL is hosted by a third party such as Smugmug. I am using my personal URL on smugmug using their procedures. Yet, to get to my website, a user has to see "Site is NOT Secure - Go Back". This is a show stopper. There is zero need for me to host a site that is listed as dangerous on firefox. Is there a solution to this?

SmugMug takes care of the SSL cert for you. This was launched in 2018, which is why the discussions stopped. If your site is showing warnings it’s most likely because something wasn’t setup properly when you entered the setup. Email the heroes and they can help you ensure you’re all set.
Note that SmugMug can only provide SSL certs on your https://www.customdomain. The version without www will need to be setup on your domain registrar- use their free letsencrypt cert to forward to www

I don't think I ever "entered the setup".
I'll contact them for support. Thanks again.
