I found a tiny (ca 3mm) blob on a rotten twig. Two days later it was possibly a bit bigger (measured at ca 3.5mm) but had formed the resistant stage.

I think it is the third species of Lycogala I have found on barkless, rotten wood in our garden.

The stereo is crosseye.

Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Laowa 25mm f2.8 2.5x-5x ultra-macro at f11, twin TTL flash hand-held.
