I find these in my garden each year. The are always out of direct light and the suspending thread is usually long, allowing the cocoon to swing an spin freely in any air movement.This one was on a shorter thread and wold stay still between shots.
The substrate was dryish, rotten wood
Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Laowa 25mm f2.8 2.5x-5x ultra-macro at x2.5 (FOV 7mm wide) and f11, ISO 800, twin TTL flash, hand-held.
The stereo is crosseye.
