What happened to keywords?

It now seems that photo keywords are only displayed when logged in. Is there a way to change this for my site? Does the search still properly use keywords even when they're not shown?

I see keywords in lightbox on my site (when I am not logged in), and I also see them on the keyword page, /keyword.

Okay, yeah, I see them in the /keyword page. And I checked that setting and keywords are on. They're just not showing up on my individual photo view. I heavily customized the design, like, five years ago, and it's possible something has just inadvertently broken. I'll poke at my customizations and see.

I can DM you the URL if you want -- it's family photo sharing site protected by obscurity and I'd most prefer to keep it that way rather than putting links on forums. (No big secrets, but, y'know.)
