I'm still in a bee phase. Recently I've been trying to catch them in midair. My success rate is very low.

No, I've never been stung by a bee (by wasps and yellowjackets, yes). I should probably feel a little more apprehensive about bees than I do since we now have Africanized bees that are much more aggressive than ordinary honeybees. Thanks for the comment.
