Quite frequently, when I see a Harvestman, I think it is new to me. Almost always, it is Leiobunum rotundum. This time (today), it looked far too big. In fact is body length (legs excluded) is 9mm. compared with 6.5mm of the former species.

This one had its legs fully extended, measuring 10cm from tip of rear to tip of front legs. That they were all in the same plane as the body is a rare treat with a Harvestman and very helpful for photography.

The location is in our conservatory, where the net-type shading blinds are an unfortunate background but are the reason that it was there.

The highest magnification is 1:1.
