I live in the Colorado high country, this time of year we get wild swings in temperature, low 20s at night and up to 60 during the day. Yesterday we had a snowy cold day.

It took me a while to get ahold of this one....southern boy, you know. It's an interesting shot but I find it hard to look at for long. I wish the background was even more out of focus. Probably just me. Stay safe, my friend.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
I like the division in the photo, saying without saying, the transition from one season to another. It is subtle and if one doesn't really look at the image, I suspect that the "hidden" meaning (intention) may be lost/overlooked.

It's too early for ice!

That's true, I forgot that when we lived in North Idaho, we too had snow in October. The winter comes early and stays late, but so beautiful.

Nice ice, Cristóbal.
Freezes in upstate NY in Oct, too.
No snow yet, but, in 1987 we had 2 feet of wet snow with the leaves still on the trees in early Oct.
Thanks Will.
