This is a jelly fungus, an unusually large one (see index finger in third image).
I was using daylight in shade. I don't think the even lighting on the colours could have been obtained with flash.
The stereos are crosseye.
Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/20 or 1/25 f9 ISO 2000, hand-held.

I'm not sure exactly how in this case but all fungus spores are airborne. Cap fungi form downdrafts which lead to eddies.
