Yesterday I was on a joint survey of woodland with members of a group from the neighbouring county. We were limited to teams of six under COVID regulations and two of our team cancelled. So four of us had to do our best to cover the ground.
Our group had two further surveys planned but the imminent lockdown cancelled those.
So it was a very nice ending to the season with this, the rarest find of the year, the very last find.
I had never seen this species before and it is listed as an Endangered Species.
Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/25 or 1/30 at, f7.1, f11 , f11 ISO 2000 , hand-held.

These are more common with us. Great end to the season.
