I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Wow! Great shots of very unusual vehicles. Astonishing!
It's great to hear from you, Sara. I hope all is well with you.
Good set, Tom.
Orphans of the auto industry.
Thanks, Willard. What's really interesting is that some of these oddballs actually reflect sound engineering and fabrication skills.
It's like a study on evolution.

Ha. I never looked at it from that perspective. It's a good thing that several of these things didn't cross mate. No telling how that would have worked out. Stay safe my friend.
Looks like it was fun to attend, Tom.

It was fun, Don. If you're a hard core car guy, as I am, these top level shows can wind you up. Stay safe.
Officially shocked! Wow who had time top make these things!
That's a good question. Considering that some of these creations come from much earlier times, you can appreciate that the demands upon inventors and skilled workers flexed quite a bit over time. When you're chasing a dream, it's easy to lose track of time. I'd venture a bet that the folks behind a lot of this oddball stuff were convinced that they had the answer to man's prayer in that arena. Looking at the current scene, the standout candidate for leader of the pack is Elton Musk.....never meets time projections but comes through in the end.
What a great show! And very nicely captured.

Many thanks for the visit, Jo. I hope you're doing well.
Tom...
Wonderful set!
Amazing engineering and morphing of technology.
Would certainly have been great to drive one of these.

I'm with you there, Gato. I would pass, however, on that propeller jobbie. The prop is in front of the driver......if I'm going to try something like that, it's going to be a pusher design.
