Public gallery on password protected site

My custom domain has a site level password but I need to make certain galleries open to the public without any password. How do I configure the gallery to support this?

    I guess this isn't possible. Looks like the only option is to move the gallery to a separate folder that inherits the password requirement and set a simple password for these galleries.

    My site is public. I moved all my family folders under a single top folder with flow down password.

    Go to your Browse page /browse. And customize/modify the box showing all top level stuff to only what you want public.
