Integration with Sony TV

My daughter is thinking of becoming a Smugmug user and wants to show photos on her Sony TV. Anyone know the best way to make this happen short of buying Apple TV. She could use Chromecast perhaps ....
Any bright ideas?

I run the SmugMug app on my mobile device, and then use Chromecast to cast it to my Sony TV, which has built-in Chromecast.
