Has anyone written a Darktable Lua script for SmugMug?

I've recently been giving Darktable a much more in depth trial. There are a couple very handy Lua scripts, one does a decent job of suggesting tags for an image. Which got me to go looking into developing one that would let me sync my SmugMug galleries. I'm an ok developer, but I haven't used Lua before, so I thought I'd ask before I gave it a go over Christmas. I also asked on DT's developers list.

While I'm here, are there any SmugMug api idiosyncrasies I should watch out for?
