I'm wondering if there's a solution to this problem.
Go to long gallery page... scroll down and then click into a Gallery. When you hit the BACK button in the browser, you're brought back to the top of the gallery and have to scroll down again to keep looking at galleries. Is there a way to stop the page from bringing the user back to the top?

Your "Gallery" is actually a folder. Showing it as a collage makes it very long.
... and no, links do not contain "clicked on" info.
