Nest Construction
I found a small Rookery of GBH in a large Eucalyptus tree near my home.
These GBH have been busily constructing their nests from twigs taken from the surrounding trees.
It is quite overcast this AM with spots of diffused sunshine from time to time.
Some of the GBH are showing signs of new breeding plumage and colors.
Taken in McCormick Ranch, Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.

Well those made me smile. Can't wait for them to migrate back up this way!

I'm glad they brought a smile.
They can certainly be industrious for a bird that stands around for hours at a time.
The branch size seemed to vary on each bird and trip to the tree.
