Bald eagle family

While kayaking in even further north Wisconsin than where I live, I happened upon an eagle nest. I think this is mom with a nearly-fledged young one -

And a little while later, just mom keeping her laser focus on the kiddo from across a stretch of lake -

When on the way back to the launch site, I heard dad and then finally spotted him in a tree -

I wish I could have had them together in the nest, but I took what they gave. A terrific day on the water!
